General questions
Can the data be reused?
The aggregated indicators published on the public portal are intended to inform decision-makers, partners and the general public. For any reuse in a publication, contact the secretariat to agree on how to cite the data.
Data and indicators
Who produces the data published on the platform?
The data comes from the sectoral ministries, provincial and communal directorates, national surveys and existing information systems, in particular the national health information system. Each value goes through a two-level validation workflow, provincial then national, before it is published.
How often are the indicators updated?
The periodicity depends on the indicator: monthly for routine data from health facilities, every six months for food security analyses, annual or five-yearly for indicators from major surveys. The periodicity of each indicator is shown on its fact sheet.
Why are some values not displayed?
A dissemination threshold protects small counts: when a value is based on fewer observations than the configured threshold, it is not published on the public portal. This rule prevents re-identification and avoids publishing estimates that are too fragile.
Why does the platform use eighteen provinces?
Historical series remain attached to the division into eighteen provinces on which they were produced, which preserves their comparability over time. The new division is recorded in parallel. Aggregation to the new division will become possible once the official correspondence table is received from the National Institute of Statistics.
Access and accounts
How can I get access to the workspace?
Access is open to staff of the institutions that are members of the multisectoral platform. Requests are made through the access request form; they are reviewed by the SEP/PMSAN, which assigns the corresponding role and territorial area.
What can I do with my role?
A data entry officer fills in the forms for their area. A provincial manager validates the data for their province and consults its dashboards. A national manager gives final validation and has access to the executive view. A consultant and an observer can consult without making changes. Administration roles also manage the configuration and content.
Technical questions
Does the platform work without an internet connection?
Yes, for viewing pages already visited and for data entry. Forms completed offline are stored on the device in a local queue, visible from the outbox, and sent automatically when the network returns. If there is a duplicate for the same period, a message reports the conflict without losing the entry.
How do I install the app on my phone?
The portal installs directly from the browser, without going through an app store. The page dedicated to the app explains the steps for Android with Chrome and for iPhone with Safari. The icon then appears on the home screen like any other app.
