Commitment

The portal aims to remain usable by as many people as possible, including on slow connections and basic devices.

Contrast

Interface colours meet a contrast ratio of at least four and a half to one between text and its background. Insufficient combinations have been ruled out, in particular light text on green backgrounds and yellow on medium blue.

Navigation

A skip link leads directly to the main content. Navigation can be used with the keyboard and the focus indicator is visible on all interactive elements. Wide tables scroll within their own container without making the page overflow.

Content

Decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies. Charts include a text description and their data remains available in table form on the corresponding pages.

Animations

The scrolling banner on the home page stops on hover and on focus. It does not scroll automatically when the system requests reduced motion.

Reporting

Any accessibility difficulty can be reported to the secretariat, which will handle the request and offer an alternative.
