Overview

IFAD helps reduce poverty and fragility among rural populations by providing financial and technical support to the Government in the field of food security and nutrition. In particular, it funds the Agricultural Production Intensification and Vulnerability Reduction Project in Burundi (PIPARV-B). Areas of intervention: all provinces: Buhumuza, Bujumbura, Burunga, Butanyerera and Gitega.
