Overview
UNICEF supports the prevention, screening and treatment of malnutrition among children, adolescents and women, particularly during the first 1,000 days, as well as the nutrition response in emergencies. It provided technical and financial support to the 2024 national SMART survey and publishes humanitarian situation reports on Burundi. Areas of intervention: national, down to hill (colline) level under the new administrative division.
