Overview
UN Women ensures that the specific needs of women and girls are taken into account in food security and nutrition, and tracks data on women's economic empowerment, their participation in food systems and vulnerable female-headed households. It takes part in the SEP/PMSAN and in the provincial and communal food security and nutrition platforms. Areas of intervention: Burunga and Buhumuza provinces as of the date of the questionnaire, with possible extension to the whole country depending on funding.
