The national tool that gathers, checks and disseminates food security and nutrition data for decision makers, partners and the public.
Our role
A shared framework to track hunger and malnutrition
The Permanent Executive Secretariat of the Multisectoral Food Security and Nutrition Platform coordinates the national response to malnutrition and food insecurity in Burundi.
The platform brings together in a single framework the data produced by the health, agriculture and livestock, water and sanitation, education and social protection sectors. It provides national and provincial decision-makers with a set of harmonized, validated indicators that are comparable over time.
The platform is led by the SEP/PMSAN, with technical support from FAO, UNICEF and the partners of the UN Nutrition network.
